The Textile Museum pre-Columbian Amano–Michell Arequipa shows a history of over 2500 years, reflected in textiles from cultures such as Paracas, Nazca, Wari, Chancay and Continue..... Particular attention is given to culture Continue...., which is developed inside the department of Arequipa, among the valleys Continue...., Vítor and Majes.
The art pieces on display were rescued and are now preserved in order to be duly appreciated by visitors from all over the world.
In addition to sample tissues of the missing pre-columbian cultures, the museum has a gallery for displaying the creations of the winners of the national contest Art Michell, that is a reward worth textiles contemporary peruvian, an evolution of the age-old tradition inherited.
